I’ve done this before and I know a lot of you do it as well – just by referencing your favourite author, celebrity, football team etc doesn’t add one bit to your own success.
Some of you know more about the people you follow as compared to what you know about yourself.
You have originality even if you’ve never created anything ‘original’. Embrace that. Voice it. Express it. Live it.
Stop living the proxy life.
Live your own failures, successes, issues, opportunities with pride.
Let the battle scars show.
Don’t hide behind successful people’s shadows.
Shine in your own glory – however ugly it may look to you.
